May is Pay What You Like Month on MPS - I'll be running a series of digital books through Gumroad across the

month where people will be able to download a pdf of the book and name their own price.

You can download the book for zero or a million dollars if you're so inclined - you decide!

Each book will be available for a week, before a uniform minimum price will be established.

First up is Department O, by Andrew MacLean, Heather Breckel and myself.

We will be resuming regular updates today.

Some people voiced a preference to the daily updates, rather than a single weekly update, and we're currently working on adding some new digital first titles to the site, one of which may be a twice weekly series.

Hi all - sorry to those of you who have been checking in throughout this week for updates, I'm thinking about changing the format a little - basically doing one single update during the week of all of the comics that we are currently running, possibly on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

While I work this out, I am going to take a short break from updating - just a couple of weeks.

Updates will resume on either Tuesday the 23rd or Wednesday 24th of April - see you then!

Dan Smith joins Monkey Pipe Studio

Dan Smith is a veteran of the RPG wars of the 90's and has blossomed into a card game designer of reknown. Having designed the Origins award nominated Battle of the Bands and it's nominated expansion, Backstage Pass, he is Kickstarting his latest card game King of Crime on Valentines Day, Thurs FEB 14th. Drop by the kickstarter page and check it out, it's a great beer and pretzels game, when beer was a criminal act!!

Oh yes, He draws comic books as well, check out his Blue Knights series, starting this Thursday.

Ming Doyle and The Black Wraith!

Artist extraordinaire, Ming Doyle, has opened commission spots for NYCC.

Ming will be providing the cover for issue one of G. Brett Williams and M. Lee Harris' new Monkey Pipe Studios series, The Black Wraith. We're very excited to share the artwork for that cover with you today (featuring colours by Heather Breckel) -

The Black Wraith issue one is nearly finished, and will be available for pre-orders shortly.

Ming will also be featuring in the Brand New Nostalgia anthology, KaBOOMbox Volume One - which is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to help printing.
